The Western Guilford Softball team started off on the right foot with a very impressive 11-10 victory over Eastern Guilford. The game went back and forth as both teams fought hard all night on a very chilly evening at Eastern. Western is sporting a very young Varsity squad this year with several freshman and sophomores to go along a a few veterans from last year. The coaches have done a fine job getting these girls ready for the 2011 campaign and they were very pleased on the teams effort last night.
